Sound a Trumpet is a loose group of independents and we worship YHWH independently of association with any already formed congregation. We support the work of many such organizations, but often only in part. We promote the work of service of many different teachers and esteem their time and service very highly, both men and women. We do not necessarily agree with everything contained in every article that appears on this website, but are not attempting to establish doctrine for any of YHWH's people. Each person must study and make their own decisions about what is truth. We make every effort to avoid including any materials that we know beyond a doubt contain false teaching.

Our purpose is to share the articles and resources that have changed our lives. That work has been written or provided by both men and women.

Sound a Trumpet is growing and evolving.
Recently it was brought to our attention that there is a solid basis for making every effort to address Abba our Elohim by his proper name of YHWH (Yahuah or Yahweh). Of course,
we resisted at first, but after spending a significant amount of time in study
of the scriptures and the materials that support calling him by his proper name,
we are working to upgrade the website to reflect this change in our thinking.

As the website serves as a resource guide and links to articles written by
many men and women not directly associated with us, we will not be changing
any of the words or forms in those copyrighted materials. We will only be making the changes
to our own material and website portal pages. Material will begin to appear
shortly that supports our decision to make these changes.

For those of you who have already discovered this truth and crossed over,
please be patient with us while we make the necessary upgrade to the website.

We will continue to offer resources for those who do not believe or accept
the use of YHWH's true name just as we have been doing from the beginning.

WE ARE NOT A CHURCH AND HAVE NO FORMAL ORGANIZATION.
We have recently received several inquiries about how to join our organization,
requests for sending materials, or for establishing offices in other countries.
That is not our purpose and we are not able (or interested in) serving in that way.
Everything we have to offer is available right here on this website only and
is designed for independents to use the resources in any way that they desire.
Our goal is only to search out and make available as many such resources as we
can find. If an article we post on this website offers materials to send for,
we will attempt to the best of our ability to make links available so you can
acquire those resources. But we don't have them here, except perhaps in the
form of our own personal copy. Futhermore, it would not be legal for us to distribute
those items. If you see something you want, search for a link. We'll make
every effort to provide those links whenever possible. If we cannot do so,
we'll attempt to catch such offers and remove them from the articles.
