How lovely are Thy dwellings, O Eternal Yah (Lord) of Hosts!
My soul is longing, fainting, for Thee O living El (God).
Yea, the bird has found its home, built a nest to lay her young;
O that I may find Thine altars, my Yah (Lord), my King, my El (God)!

How lovely are Thy dwellings, O Eternal Yah (Lord) of Hosts!
For those who dwell in Thy house shall ever sing Thy praise!
Blest and happy is the man, who has found his strength in Thee;
He is stronger day by day, and shall in Zion dwell!

Give ear unto my prayer, O El (God) of Israel;
For a day with thee is better than a thousand other days;
